PARIS, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- French shares edged down on Friday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 down 0.32 percent, or 17.22 points, to close at 5,319.17 points.
French vehicle producer Peugeot went down by 2.79 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. French international leader in consulting, technology and outsourcing services Capgemini edged down 1.72 percent, while French international energy management company ENGIE lost 1.28 percent.
French multinational mass media conglomerate Vivendi advanced 4.39 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. International communication giant Publicis rose 1.75 percent, and French firm Techinpfmc gained 1.45 percent. Enditem
