SOFIA, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- Six people were killed and 18 injured in a head-on crash between a minibus and a truck in Bulgaria on Friday noon, the country's Ministry of Interior said in a statement.
The accident occurred near the village of Mikre, some 130 km northeast of the country's capital Sofia, the ministry said.
The accident is under investigation, it added.
In 2016, car accidents killed 708 people in the Balkan country.
