MUMBAI, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets closed higher Friday as benchmark indices maintained uptrend in last hour of trade after Moody's upgraded India's sovereign rating to Baa2 and changed the outlook to stable from positive.
The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 33,342.80, up 235.98 points, or 0.78 percent, compared to its previous close at 33,106.82.
