Dollar drops to mid-112 yen zone on Trump's alleged links with Russia

TOKYO, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar fell to the mid-112 yen zone Friday in Tokyo amid media reports about a subpoena issued last month requesting documents related to Russia from Trump's campaign officials.

At 5 p.m. local time, the dollar was quoted at 112.57-58 yen compared with 113.00-10 yen in New York and 113.24-25 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday. It moved between 112.40 yen and 113.14 yen during the day.

The euro fetched 1.1787-1788 dollars and 132.69-73 yen against 1.1765-1775 dollars and 132.96-133.06 yen in New York and 1.1771-1772 dollars and 133.30-34 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon.
