DUBAI, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- The doors close Thursday on another record-breaking Dubai Airshow, with the order book stood at almost 113.8 billion U.S. dollars.

Trade visitors to the event were up around 20 percent on the 2015 event, with some 79,380 people entering the purpose-built hall at Al Maktoum International Airport, Dubai during its five-day run.

Airbus revealed its largest single announcement ever -- a 49.5 billion dollars deal with Indigo Partners to purchase 430 aircrafts in its A320neo family.

Boeing won large commitments across its twin and single-aisle commercial airplane families, debuting key capabilities including the CST-100 Starliner docking and KC-46 re-fueling simulators, and announced services agreements at the 2017 Dubai Airshow.

"We signed agreements with key airline partners including Emirates, flydubai, Azerbaijan Airlines, ALAFCO and Ethiopian Airlines. In addition, EgyptAir became a new customer for the 787," said Bernard Dunn, president of Boeing Middle East, North Africa and Turkey.

The companies saw the airshow as a great opportunity to introduce the latest unit and services to the Middle East region.

The biennial airshow invited for the first time Chinese air force's August 1 Demonstration Team for the air display.
