RABAT, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe started Wednesday a two-day visit to Morocco with the aim to cement economic partnership between Paris and Rabat.

Upon his arrival at Rabat airport, the French PM was welcomed by his Moroccan counterpart Saadeddine El Othmani.

The French PM and his Moroccan peer will preside over the 13th Moroccan French High-level Meeting.

The meeting represents a precious opportunity to continue strengthening bilateral partnership in many areas, including education and training, business environment, regionalization, and coordinating action toward development in Africa, according to a statement by Morocco's PM office.

The meeting will be crowned by the signing of various new agreements, the statement noted.

On the sidelines of meeting, a France-Morocco Business Leaders' Club Forum will also be organized, it added.
