TOKYO, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks were mixed Tuesday morning as some investors bought on dips following the Nikkei's losing streak and U.S. shares rising overnight, while others opted to lock in gains.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average added 60.25 points, or 0.27 percent, from Monday to 22,441.24.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, lost 2.43 points, or 0.14 percent, to 1,781.06.

Metal product, electrical appliance and machinery-linked issues comprised those that gained the most by the morning break.
