TOKYO, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks opened marginally higher Tuesday tracking overnight gains on Wall Street.
As of 9:15 a.m. local time, the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average added 38.47 points, or 0.17 percent, from Monday to 22,419.46.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, gained 0.01 points at 1,783.50.
Securities, metal product and rubber product-linked issues comprised those that gained the most in the the opening minutes after the morning bell.
