MADRID, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares dropped on Thursday, with the benchmark Ibex-35 down 0.86 percent or 87.60 points, to close at 10,141.10 points.
A total of 32 of the selected 35 large companies lost in the day.
Renewable energy company Siemens Gamesa was down 4.23 percent, followed by energy and infrastructure company Acciona and steel manufacturing corporation ArcelorMittal that lost 3.74 percent and 3.36 percent respectively.
Insurance company Mapfre advanced 1.90 percent, being the top gainer of the blue chips. Engineering and infrastructure company Tecnicas Reunidas rose 0.30 percent and airport operator AENA was up 0.22 percent.
