BEIJING, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping said he believed U.S. President Donald Trump's state visit to China would achieve "positive and important" results.

Xi made the remarks while touring with Trump to the Palace Museum, or the Forbidden City, as the U.S. president started his visit in Beijing on Wednesday.
