CHANGCHUN, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) -- Von Wafer finished with a game-high 34 points while Jilin lost to Zhenjjiang 124-100 in the third round of Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Friday night.
With four three-pointers from Lin Zhijie, the visiting team Zhejiang got a 16-2 lead at the beginning of the game. Von Wafer tried to cut the gap for Jilin. Zhejiang took the lead with the score of 34-16 when the first quarter ended.
Landry and Von Wafer scored for Jilin and cut the gap to 10 points. Strengthening its defense, Zhejiang expanded the advantage and led 63-46 at the end of the first half.
In the second half, Zhejiang controlled the pace of the game and kept a double-digit advantage to take the victory, their third straight win of the season.
Von Waver scored 34 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Landry collected 23 points and 15 rebounds while Gao Shiyan contributed 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for Jilin.
