Islamic organ condemns New York attack

RABAT, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) -- The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) condemned on Wednesday the recent deadly terrorist attack in New York, it said in a statement.

ISESCO said that whoever carried out this heinous crime is a terrorist whose heinous act is criminalized by Islam as a major sin.

The Islamic organ reiterated its rejection and condemnation of terrorism under all its forms.

On Tuesday, a pickup truck plowed into the people on a cycle path in Lower Manhattan in New York and killed eight people and injured 11 others.
