BEIJING, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- Huang Kunming, head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, said the country's publicity, ideological and cultural departments will initiate the study and implementation of the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress across the country.
Huang, also member of the Political Bureau of the 19th CPC Central Committee, made the remarks at a teleconference on studying the essence of the congress, which concluded in Beijing last week.
Huang stressed that the publicity, ideological and cultural departments should take the study and implementation of the spirit as its prime political task, focusing on the study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.
Huang said the CPC national congress achieved significant political, theoretical, and practical outcomes and is of great significance to mobilizing all Party members and people of all ethnic groups to have confidence in the path, theory, system, and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
Publicity both by media outlets and through social channels will be organized around the country, he said, adding that new media should be used to make the spirit of the congress take root among the public.
