GABORONE, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- Angolan clubs dominated the FIBA Africa Zone six (VI) basketball club championships preliminaries that came to an end in Botswana capital Gaborone on Thursday night.

Club Libolo and Inter Clube finished 1-2 in the men's tournament while Premao took the runners-up in the women's counterpart for Angola.

Ferroviaro of Mozambique won the women's title.

Botswana, South Africa, Angola, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe competed for the berths to the Africa club championships with the winners going to the continental championships.

Botswana's teams had disappointed performances in the tournament as Botswana Basketball Association (BBA) President Boineelo Hardy was not happy with the results.

Hardy said the tournament is a learning lesson to Botswana basketball.
