TOKYO, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar rose to the upper 113 yen zone Tuesday in Tokyo with market players' risk appetite boosted by the longest winning streak of Nikkei.
At 5 p.m. local time, the dollar was quoted at 113.66-68 yen compared with 113.38-48 yen in New York and 113.77-79 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday. It moved between 113.25 yen and 113.71 yen during the day.
The euro fetched 1.1755-1756 dollars and 133.61-65 yen against 1.1745-1755 dollars and 133.22-32 yen in New York and 1.1755-1757 dollars and 133.74-78 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon.
