ZAGREB, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- The Zagreb County Court on Wednesday evening ruled one-month investigative detention for Ivica Todoric, founder of Croatia's debt-laden food and retail group Agrokor.

Ivica Todoric, owner and former CEO of the biggest private company in Croatia, is not in the country and no one knows where he is. If he doesn't show in Croatia soon, police will announce an international arrest warrant.

The remaining 14 persons suspected of financial wrongdoing, among them his sons and son-in-law, will not be detained.

On Monday, when police arrested 12 members of the former management of Agrokor for their possible involvement in the white-collar crime, Todoric wrote on his personal blog that he was not on the run and that he would defend himself in the court if necessary.

A day later he wrote that none of his colleagues in the company were guilty and that he is the only one responsible for possible wrongdoings.

Despite spectacular arrests with a live coverage of Croatian media on Monday, all 12 members were released after the Zagreb County Court rejected State Prosecutor's Office request for a month-long detention. The prosecutor's office will appeal against the court decision.

Before crisis hit the company, Agrokor retail chain was a leader in the entire South-East Europe retail market.
