Hong Kong's EMBA program ranks world's No. 1 for 8th time

HONG KONG, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) -- The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) said here Monday that its partnership Executive MBA (EMBA) program is ranked No. 1 in the world in the latest Financial Times (FT) Global EMBA Rankings.

This is the eighth time the Kellogg-HKUST EMBA program, a unique partnership between the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, has topped the highly respected international ranking chart, HKUST said in a press release on Monday.

Welcoming the recurrent recognition, Professor Tony F Chan, President of HKUST, said that The Kellogg-HKUST EMBA fosters perceptive business leaders with a global insight to manage today's increasingly dynamic world.

The Kellogg-HKUST EMBA program was launched in 1998.

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) also announced on Monday that its business school's partnership with London Business School and Columbia Business School has achieved second place in its first ever entry in the annual FT Executive MBA ranking.
