PARIS, Oct. 12 (Xinhua) -- Ligue 1 outfit Amiens' next home match against Bordeaux on October 21 will be played at Stade Oceane in northern France's Le Havre, the Competition Commission of the French professional football league (LFP) announced on Thursday, a result of barrier collapse incidents at Amiens' home stadium last month.

"Meeting on October 12, the Competition Commission of the LFP decided that the match between Amiens and Bordeaux will be played at Stade Oceane in Le Havre on October 21, following serious incidents in the Amiens vs Lille match on September 30," said a LFP statement.

The match between Amiens and Lille on September 30 was interrupted in the first half, and later postponed, after barrier of the visiting fans stand collapsed at Stade de La Licorne, Amiens' home stadium, leaving more than 20 fans injured.

The Stade Oceane, with a capacity of more than 25,000 spectators, was scheduled to host some matches during the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2019.
