ISLAMABAD, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- At least 10 people were killed and scores others injured when a suicide blast ripped through a shrine in Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province on Thursday evening, local Urdu media reported.

The blast happened when the bomber blew himself up near the ladies' camp of the shrine, located in Jhal Magsi area of the province, ARY News said.

Police said there were around 800 to 1,000 people inside the shrine when the incident happened.

The death toll is feared to rise due to lack of proper medical facilities in hospitals near the blast site.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.

Investigations into the incident are underway.
