KABUL, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) -- The Afghan intelligence agency personnel have busted a three-member terrorist group in Kabul, capital of Afghanistan, said National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Wednesday.
"NDS personnel have busted a terrorist group of Taliban outfit during a recent special operation in Kabul," NDS, the country's primary intelligence agency, said in a statement.
The arrestees admitted to having the membership of Taliban outfit and they already coordinated to launch a terrorist attack on a potential target in Kabul. They had also captured photography from the potential target in Kabul, according to the statement.
The statement did not reveal when and where, Zia-ul-Haq, Akhtar Gul alias Ulfat and Abidullah were arrested.
Kabul has been frequently rocked by explosions and suicide bombings from time to time.
Taliban has yet to make comments.
