3 Canadians killed in Las Vegas shooting, 1 woman missing

OTTAWA, Oct. 3 (Xinhua) -- The number of Canadians killed in the Las Vegas mass shooting rose to three while a Canadian woman is still missing, according to local television network CTV Tuesday.

CTV reported that of the three dead, two women are from Alberta Province and the man is from British Columbia. At least seven other Canadians were injured in the attack.

The missing woman has been identified as 34-year-old Tara Roe from Okotoks, a town in Alberta.

All the Canadians were at Las Vegas outdoor music festival Sunday night when a gunman opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay resort and casino across the street.

Fifty-nine people were killed and more than 500 injured in this deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.
