KHARTOUM, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) -- Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir on Monday reiterated his country's commitment to consolidating pillars of regional and international security.
He reiterated commitment to standards of transparency in combating corruption and achieving objectives of international sustainable development goals with the focus on protection of woman and child rights together with commitment to environment protection.
Al-Bashir further vowed to adopt executive measures for Sudan's initiative to achieve Arab and African food security.
He also renewed Sudan's commitment to continuing its openness to the peoples of the world to expand common benefits, saying "we will expand cooperation with neighboring countries and enhance cooperation with all the brothers via different mechanisms of joint action so that Sudan would be an effective country within its regional and international surrounding."
Al-Bashir, meanwhile, announced a program for rearranging his government's priorities for the period 2018-2020.
