BEIJING, Oct. 1 (Xinhuanet) -- A forum on promoting healthy lifestyle and creating beautiful environment was held lately in east China's county.
The Chun'an County, located near Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province, is well-known for a national scenic spot within – the Qiandao Lake.
The forum, themed “Come to Qiandao Lake to enjoy a healthy and beautiful life”, drew over 130 scholars and entrepreneurs.
Such a notion of keeping a healthy lifestyle and creating sound living environment is deeply rooted in the minds of local residents.
After years of development, the county is now abound with large areas of forests and lakes, and builds the Qiandao Lake into a hot tourist destination for its pure water and clear air.
About 18 projects were signed at the forum to continuously promote this notion.
Local people also welcomed the forum by kicking off their traditional festival – the Xiushui festival. A series of athletic games, dance competitions will be held during the festival.
The festival will run until the end of November.
