Xi calls for profound understanding of Marxism

BEIJING, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, has called for a profound understanding of Marxism and vigorous promotion of the sinicization of Marxism.

Xi made the remarks Friday afternoon at a group study session attended by members of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.
