NEW YORK, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale jolted southeast Hachinohe, Japan, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said on Tuesday.
The epicenter, with a depth of 32.41 km, was initially determined to be at 40.3434 degrees north latitude and 142.3865 degrees east longitude.
