LASHKAR GAH, Afghanistan, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- Four people were killed and 14 others wounded in a traffic accident in Afghanistan's southern province of Helmand on Monday, a local official said.
"The accident took place early Monday, along Kabul-Herat Highway, which links Afghan capital Kabul to western Herat province, when a passenger bus collided head-on with a truck in Sangilan area of Helmand," Mohammad Salim Roodi, Greshk district governor, told Xinhua.
The casualties were shifted to a Greshgk district hospital, the governor added.
Blaming reckless driving for the deadly crash, the official said that careless driving often leads to deadly accidents in the province.
