ISTANBUL, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- One person was killed and four others injured on Thursday when a private jet crashed on a runway in Istanbul's Ataturk Airport, forcing a brief closure of Turkey's major airport, local media reported.
The mishap occurred as the jet, registered as TC-KON, was landing, resulting in the plane bursting into flame and temporary closure of the airport to air traffic, the private Dogan news agency said.
