FRANKFURT, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- German stocks closed flat on Wednesday, with the benchmark DAX index up 7.38 points, or 0.06 percent, to close at 12,569.17 points.
Energy group RWE won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 3.49 percent. Industrial giant Thyssenkrupp and banking and financial services provider Commerzbank rose by 2.50 percent and 2.37 percent respectively.
Deutsche Bank lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 1.89 percent. European health care company Fresenius SE and semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies went down by 1.52 percent and 1.34 percent respectively.
German telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom was the most-traded share with a turnover of 233.14 million euros (279.76 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
