ANKARA, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- One police officer was killed and another injured when a police helicopter accident occurred Wednesday in a Police Vocational School in Turkey's central province of Nigde, local Dogan News Agency reported.
While the helicopter was landing, Abdullah Yildirim, a 27-year-old special forces police officer served as a trainer, was killed after the tail rotor struck him, according to the report.
Another 25-year-old police officer Azim Dogan was wounded on his leg and was later taken under treatment.
