MUMBAI, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets closed flat on a negative note Wednesday.
Equity benchmarks fell marginally amid consolidation, dragged by private banks, auto and technology stocks. However, index heavyweights Reliance Industries, ITC and L&T capped losses.
The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 32,400.51, 1.86 points or 0.01 percent down compared to its previous close at 32,402.37.
