ANKARA, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) -- Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim met his Kuwaiti counterpart in the capital Ankara on Thursday, discussing on the further bilateral cooperation and joint efforts to solve the ongoing Gulf crisis.

Yildirim and Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah held one-on-one meeting which was followed by delegation-level talks.

During the meeting, both premiers expressed their satisfaction in the level of cooperation they have reached in the fields of economy and investment and vowed to further boost it, said a joint statement issued later.

They also expressed their concerns over the ongoing crisis among Gulf countries, with Turkey offering its full support to the mediation efforts carried out by Kuwait to resolve the crisis.

The two countries signed six agreements on security, civil aviation, communication, youth, economy and finance late Thursday.
