SINGAPORE, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks finished lower on Wednesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) dipping 0.29 percent or 9.41 points to close at 3220.95.
A total of 2.14 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.16 billion Singapore dollars (about 856.98 million U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers by 250 to 148.
The STI index went down 0.16 percent or 5.33 points to close at 3230.36 on Wednesday.
