CHICAGO, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- A light aircraft crashed Tuesday morning in the U.S. State of Wisconsin, leaving pilot dead, said local sheriff's office.
The crash happened in Winnebago County, central-east Wisconsin.
Images taken on the site show a blue-colored propeller-driven aircraft flipped in a field.
According to local media, the only occupant, a male pilot, died in the crash.
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the crash.
