JAKARTA, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- The Indonesian government has set a target of ranking the top position in ASEAN Para Games in Malaysia this month, Indonesian Youth and Sport Minister Imam Nahrawi said on Tuesday.
Nahrawi disclosed in Central Java province that he was optimistic about the target. "We want to be the top of the position. The opportunity to achieve the target must be taken," he was quoted by Antara news agency.
"With the strong spirit of the athletes, I have confidence that many extraordinary things may happen," Nahrawi added.
The ASEAN Para Games is scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia from Sept. 17 to 23.
Indonesia will send 196 athletes to compete in all 11 sports in the regional sport event, according to Nahrawi.
