SANAA, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- Arab coalition fighter jets destroyed a number of missile launch sites belonging to Houthi militants and forces of ousted Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, Saudi Al Arabiya TV news reported on Sunday.

The Saudi-led coalition's fighter jets destroyed two missile launch pads and anti-armors, Saudi Al Arabiya TV news reported.

This comes after Houthis attempted to attack Saudi military sites near the Saudi city of Jizan and Yemeni Saada governorate at the Saudi-Yemeni borders.

The coalition forces managed in another airstrike to destroy a military vehicle belonging to Houthis, which was carrying ammunition and heading for Saada.

In addition, the coalition warplanes targeted Houthi elements in various sites, killing a prominent Houthi leader in Saada.
