PARIS, Sept. 7 (Xinhua) -- French police on Thursday arrested the third man after they found explosive materials at a flat in southern Paris, BFMTV news channel reported.

A 37-year-old suspect was placed into custody overnight on possible links with two men arrested on Wednesday suspected of using explosive materials.

One of the two is the 36-year-old owner of the apartment in Villejuif, southern Paris, and the other is a 47-year-old man born in Tunisia, said French broadcaster LCI quoting police source.

During the raid, police seized TATP explosive, gas cylinders in addition to electric wire, batteries and oxygenated water, according to the report.

Risks of terror attacks remain high in France where a "state of emergency" has been declared after about 130 people were killed and 350 wounded in a series of explosions and shootings on Nov.13, 2015.
