CAIRO, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- The Free Egyptians Party stressed on Monday that Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi succeeded in redrawing Egypt's relations with world countries, citing China's invitation to take part in the 9th BRICS summit.
The invitation mirrors China's great appreciation of Egypt's pivotal and pioneering role in the region, the party said in a statement.
Sisi's overseas visits aim at luring more investments, boosting the national economy and increasing trade exchange, it said.
It expressed belief that the current China visit of Sisi will have positive effects on the Egyptian economy as it will increase economic cooperation between Egypt and the BRICS states.
The BRICS group comprises the large fast-growing nations Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
The five nations have a combined nominal GDP of 16.6 trillion U.S. dollars, equivalent to approximately 22 percent of the gross world product.
