Shen Houfu, 82, paints in his home in Shaoxing City of east China's Zhejiang Province Aug. 31, 2017. Shen began his creation of a giant painting depicting what his hometown was like according to his childhood memory 8 years ago when he was hospitalized with cancer diagnoses. Upon his recovery, he continued to create more paintings on the ancient towns in such a comprehensive way that the 47 paintings he created serve as a blue print for a local town renovation project by a land developer.
