Gas explosion in center of Bastogne, south Belgium

BRUSSELS, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- A gas explosion took place on Tuesday at around 9 p.m. in a house in the center of Bastogne, south Belgium, according to local press.

The communal emergency plan was triggered. Several ambulances and firefighters are currently on site. According to witnesses, there were people wounded.
