Namibian airline eyes Western Africa routes to promote trade and tourism

WINDHOEK, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- Namibia' national airline, Air Namibia announced that it will add Lagos and Accra to its route network effective March 2018.

In a statement on Tuesday, Air Namibia Manager of Corporate Communications, Paul Nakawa said the move will work perfectly with the airline's growing business as well as promote intra-Africa trade and tourism flows.

Nakawa said the routing for the two new destinations will be Windhoek-Lagos-Accra, and the return will be Accra-Lagos-Windhoek four times per week using the Airbus A319-100 aircraft.

Nakawa said the days of operation departing from Windhoek will be Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
