MADRID, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- Spain's deputy Prime Minister, Soraya Saenz de Santamaria, will travel to Barcelona on Thursday evening after the city was hit by a terrorist attack.
Local media reported that Saenz de Santamaria will meet with Enric Millo, the delegate of the Spanish executive in Catalonia, and his team in order to coordinate the tasks.
Millo is attending the crisis meeting being held at the regional government of Catalonia, Generalitat, along with representatives of Barcelona's city council, Generalitat and central government.
Official reports said at least one person has been killed and 32 were injured, although some sources have pointed out at least 13 people have been killed after a van rammed into a crowd at Las Ramblas, famous street located in the city center of Barcelona.
