BEIJING, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- A 5.7-magnitude earthquake jolted the waters of East China Sea at 8:51 p.m. Wednesday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 28.69 degrees north latitude and 127.94 degrees east longitude. The quake struck at a depth of 180 km, the center said in a statement.
