GAZA, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- Islamic Hamas movement is considering "giving up" control over Gaza Strip and allow local institutions and the international community to take their responsibilities towards the crises of the coastal enclave, Palestine Today TV reported on Tuesday.

Member of Islamic Hamas movement's political bureau Khalil Al-Hayya made the remarks on Monday evening.

Al-Hayya said in televised statement to local Palestine Today TV Station that "one of the option Hamas is studying is giving up everything and letting the international community and factions shoulder their responsibilities towards the Gaza Strip."

A source in Hamas movement unravel a few days ago that Hamas's armed wing submitted a proposal to the politicly bureau about how to deal with the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The plan includes creating a political and security vacuum and letting go of any management in Gaza Strip, allowing only police to maintain security, while Al-Qassam brigades and armed wings of other Palestinian factions take over the "field control and local bodies handle daily services."

Observers undermined the plan, especially that it was not officially endorsed.

However, Al-Hayya said that the political leadership of Hams received AL-Qassam's proposal and that "it is being studied, and the movement will make a decision about it after it has studied it."

Al-Hayya said that the leadership of Al-Qassam saw that the conditions of the Gaza Strip are affecting the resistance negatively and therefore they came up with the plan.
