TEHRAN, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- Iran qualified for the 2018 FIVB men's World Championships by beating Kazakhstan 3-0 in Pool A on Sunday.
The Iranian team eased past Kazakhstan in three straight sets 25-18, 25-17, 25-16 at the Iranian northwestern city of Ardabil.
Iran have already defeated South Korea and China in the five-day tournament.
Igor Kolakovic's men is scheduled to meet Qatar on Monday.
Earlier in the day, China also defeated South Korea 3-0 to book a place at the 2018 FIVB World Championships.
Japan and Australia have previously qualified for the prestigious competition as Pool B' s top finishers.
The 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship will be jointly hosted by Italy and Bulgaria. Enditem
