WINDHOEK, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- A Spanish woman, 31, who was touring Namibia died Saturday in a road accident, while several others sustained minor injuries, police said.

Since the woman's next of kin are yet to be informed, the police could not identify her.

The accident that involved two tour trucks happened near the northeastern town of Grootfontein, about 450 kilometers from Windhoek.

Police said the crash occurred when a bus carrying 23 tourists from Spain and two Zimbabweans rammed into a pickup that had four French tourists -- two men and two women.

According to the police, the bus driven by a South African driver, 44, rolled several times.

The woman is the second tourist to die in a road accident within days after an Israeli, 72, passed away in hospital on Aug. 8 when he lost control of the vehicle.

The accident that happened near Oshakati town about 550 kilometers from Windhoek left three other Israelis with varying degrees of injuries. Enditem
