When he graduated from university in 1978, he had the chance to stay at the school but he refused it and returned to Boshan District Hospital which located in the mountain area of his hometown. In 1997, as one of the top 10 famous doctors in Boshan district, he offered to be the president of Yuanquan Central Health Center which is about to be closed in Boshan district.
