KIEV, July 28 (Xinhua) -- Ukraine and South Korea have good prospects for developing bilateral scientific and technological cooperation taking into account their complementary advantages, Ukrainian First Deputy Prime Minister Stepan Kubiv said Friday.
"We can create joint metallurgical and machine-building enterprises, as well as research centers in Ukraine, which will combine the South Korean experience in high technologies and the outstanding skills of Ukrainian engineers," Kubiv told the 5th International Economic Forum Ukraine-South Korea in Kiev.
Besides, he suggested that the two countries have good opportunities to jointly build engines for space projects and cooperate in the field of broadband Internet development.
The forum kicked off here earlier in the day with the participation of more than 30 officials, businessmen and scientists from the two countries.
