SINGAPORE, July 28 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks finished lower on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) dropping 23.96 points, or 0.71 percent, to close at 3330.75.
A total of 2.80 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.27 billion Singapore dollars (about 932.11 million U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainer by 275 to 171.
The STI index went up 17.99 points, or 0.54 percent, to close at 3354.71 Thursday.
