TOKYO, July 27 (Xinhua) -- Japan's Democratic Party leader Renho announced her decision to step down as the leader of the largest opposition party Thursday.
She said that she had been contemplating what actions could be taken for the public to regain trust in the Democratic Party again.
Renho, 49, said it was up to her to reflect on herself.
