HO CHI MINH CITY, July 26 (Xinhua) -- A total of 120 foreign and Vietnamese firms have been displaying their latest products and technologies relating to food, and agricultural products and machines at two expos which kicked off here on Wednesday.
There are nearly 200 booths at the Vietnam Farm and Food Expo 2017 and Agritech Vietnam 2017, which features agricultural machines, equipment and production chains.
During the three-day events, a conference on promoting business links and sales of agricultural products, including special fruits in southern Vinh Long province will also be held.
Vietnam earned 17.1 billion U.S. dollars from exporting agricultural products in the first six months of this year, up 13.1 percent on-year, according to the country's Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development.
Its fruit and vegetable exports value surged 44.6 percent to 1.7 billion U.S. dollars during the period.
